Allison Hagerman is an Associate Program Officer at the McCune Charitable Foundation, where she reviews programs and facilitates grantee engagement. She has a Ph.D. in philosophy and over a decade of experience working in post-secondary education. Her research interests include philosophy of place and aesthetics of environment, and her written work has been featured in Ethics, Place, and Environment: A Journal of Philosophy & Geography, Teaching Philosophy, and Southwest Philosophical Studies: The Journal of the New Mexico West Texas Philosophical Society. In 2008, she served as an Ethics Fellow for the National Science Foundation Ethics Fellows Pilot Program, under the auspices of which she worked as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and teach a course on Ethics in Engineering at the University of New Mexico’s School of Engineering. Allison is a life-long resident of New Mexico and an alumna of Santa Fe High School.
