Felicity Broennan had the great privilege of growing up in Santa Fe at a time when it was a haven for artistic, alternative, and creative-culture lifestyle exploration. After earning her B.A. from the University of Colorado in English and her M.S. in environmental science and communication from Antioch New England Graduate School, she has spent the majority of her working life in the social-profit arena for a variety of organizations such as Girls, Inc., the Navajo Housing Authority, the American Indian Higher Education Consortium, the Institute of American Indian Arts, The San Juan Mountains Association, and the Santa Fe Watershed Association. She also founded a music promotion company, Bad Girls Productions, the proceeds of which funded many non-profit environmental endeavors in the Four-Corners region. A recent convert to state government, she is currently the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Partnerships for the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.
