Robert A. Kret

Robert A. Kret is the Director of the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, where he has worked since 2009. He earned a Master of Arts degree in History Museum Studies from the Cooperstown Graduate Program, State University of New York at Oneonta, and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Detroit.  His more than twenty-five years of professional museum experience includes directorships at the Hunter Museum of American Art in Chattanooga, Tennessee; Miami University Art Museum in Oxford, Ohio; Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum in Wausau, Wisconsin; Ella Sharp Museum in Jackson, Mississippi; and director of museums for the Society for the Preservation of New England Antiquities.
