Roger Holden

Since October 2012, Roger Holden has been involved with RETRO 66 - Relive the Route, a Route 66 revitalization program conceived by State Senator Sue Wilson-Beffort.  The group has accomplished numerous projects including restored the neon signs at the Whiting Brothers Station in Moriarty with a grant from the National Park Service; commissioned five murals in the town of Moriarty; cleaned up and painted the historical 1946 Midway Trading Post in Edgewood; installed three Route 66 billboards along I-40; installed Route 66 themed banners in Edgewood along the Mother Road; created the Route 66 Arts Alliance and Bear Barn Gallery in Edgewood; and launched the creation of an international event to mark Moriarty’s 66th birthday on Route 66 the summer of 2019.
